Escitalopram Oxalate, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), increases serotonin levels in the brain by inhibiting its reuptake into presynaptic neurons, contributing to improved mood and reduced anxiety. The combination of these agents provides a synergistic effect, addressing both the immediate relief of anxiety symptoms through Clonazepam and the long-term management of depression and anxiety via Escitalopram.
