Jaglor is indicated for short-term relief of severe anxiety symptoms, preoperative sedation, and as adjunctive therapy in status epilepticus.

The onset of action is rapid, typically within 20 to 30 minutes, with a duration of effect lasting up to 8 hours. Dosage should be individualized based on patient response and clinical condition, with caution advised in elderly patients or those with hepatic impairment due to altered metabolism. Common adverse effects include drowsiness, dizziness, and impaired coordination; prolonged use may lead to tolerance, dependence, and withdrawal symptoms upon abrupt discontinuation.
Jaglor should be used under strict medical supervision, avoiding concomitant use with other central nervous system depressants such as alcohol or opioids to reduce the risk of respiratory depression. It is contraindicated in patients with acute narrow-angle glaucoma and known hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before use.
