Propranolol, a non-selective beta-adrenergic blocker, reduces heart rate, myocardial contractility, and blood pressure, making it effective in controlling physical symptoms associated with anxiety such as tachycardia, tremors, and hypertension. The combined action of these agents provides both central nervous system calming effects and peripheral cardiovascular stabilization. Klocalm-Plus is indicated for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, essential tremor, and certain types of arrhythmias.
It should be used under strict medical supervision, considering potential contraindications such as respiratory disorders, bradycardia, and hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines or beta-blockers.
