Birth vaccines
BCG, Hepatitis B birth dose and OPV-0 — the protection that starts in the first 24 hours.
Primary series (6–14 weeks)
Pentavalent (DTwP, Hib, Hep B), IPV, PCV and Rotavirus across the 6, 10 and 14-week visits.

Which vaccination schedule do you use?
Both — the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) ACVIP Recommended Immunization Schedule 2025 and the Government of India National Immunization Schedule (NIS) under the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP). Each dose is tagged as free under the government programme or additionally recommended by the IAP.
Is the vaccination tracker free?

Which vaccines are free in India?
Under the UIP, the government provides BCG, OPV, Hepatitis B, Pentavalent (DTwP + Hep B + Hib), IPV/fIPV, Rotavirus, PCV, Measles-Rubella (MR), JE in endemic districts, and Td boosters — free at government health centres. The tracker marks these clearly.
We missed a dose — can we catch up?
Most vaccines have catch-up schedules — for example BCG can be given up to 5 years if missed. A few are age-limited (rotavirus must be completed by about 8 months). The tracker flags overdue doses so you can discuss catch-up with your paediatrician.
What's the difference between the UIP and IAP schedules?
The UIP is the government's free programme covering the most essential vaccines. The IAP schedule adds vaccines like Typhoid (TCV), Hepatitis A, Varicella (chickenpox), and annual Influenza that are recommended but usually given privately. We show both so you have the complete picture.
