Trimester supplements
Folic acid, iron and calcium guidance aligned to Government of India antenatal care.
You log the first day of your periods. We calculate your average cycle length and predict your next periods, estimate ovulation about 14 days before your next period, and mark the fertile window (the five days before ovulation plus the ovulation day). The more cycles you log, the more accurate it becomes.
From the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) using Naegele's rule — about 280 days (40 weeks), adjusted if your cycle is longer or shorter than 28 days. It's an estimate; your doctor may refine it with an ultrasound.
In line with Government of India antenatal care guidance: folic acid in the first trimester to protect the baby's brain and spine, then daily Iron-Folic-Acid (IFA) from the second trimester and calcium from around 14–20 weeks to help prevent anaemia and pre-eclampsia. Always take supplements on your doctor's advice — the tracker shows what's relevant for your current trimester.
