Clonazepam acts by enhancing the activity of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, thereby stabilizing neuronal membranes and reducing excessive electrical activity. Winzep 2 Tablet should be administered under strict medical supervision, with dosing individualized based on the patient’s clinical response and tolerability. Common adverse effects include drowsiness, dizziness, ataxia, and cognitive impairment. Caution is advised in patients with a history of substance abuse, respiratory insufficiency, hepatic or renal impairment, and in the elderly due to increased sensitivity to benzodiazepines.
