This medication is commonly prescribed for short-term relief of severe anxiety symptoms, preoperative sedation, and as adjunctive therapy in status epilepticus. Lorame 2 Tablet should be administered with caution, considering its potential for dependence, tolerance, and withdrawal symptoms following prolonged use. Dosage must be individualized based on patient age, clinical condition, and response to therapy, with careful monitoring to minimize adverse effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, cognitive impairment, and respiratory depression.
It is contraindicated in patients with acute narrow-angle glaucoma, severe respiratory insufficiency, and hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines. Concomitant use with other central nervous system depressants, including alcohol, should be avoided to reduce the risk of excessive sedation or respiratory compromise. Pregnant and lactating women should use Lorazepam only if clearly needed, under strict medical supervision.

Lorame 2 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Lorame 2 Tablet should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Lorame 2 Tablet should be gradual.
