Ozospas-M Tablet is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Drotaverine 80 mg and Mefenamic Acid 250 mg, designed for the management of smooth muscle spasms accompanied by pain and inflammation. Drotaverine, a selective phosphodiesterase-IV inhibitor, exerts potent antispasmodic effects by relaxing smooth muscle tissue without affecting normal muscle tone, thereby alleviating spasmodic pain commonly associated with gastrointestinal, biliary, renal, and genitourinary tract disorders.

Mefenamic Acid, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties through the inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. The synergistic combination in Ozospas-M Tablet offers effective relief from conditions such as dysmenorrhea, renal colic, biliary colic, and other spasmodic pain syndromes.
It is indicated for short-term use under medical supervision, with caution advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, renal impairment, or hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
