Drotaverine is an antispasmodic agent that acts by inhibiting phosphodiesterase-IV, leading to increased intracellular cyclic AMP levels and resultant relaxation of smooth muscles, thereby alleviating spasmodic pain. Nimesulide is a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties, which helps reduce inflammation and pain.
