This tablet is indicated for the relief of moderate to severe menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhoea, and pelvic pain. The Drotaverine component relaxes uterine muscle, reducing menstrual cramp severity and duration, while the Mefenamic Acid component inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, further alleviating cramping and pelvic pain. Monaspas 80mg/250mg Tablet is administered orally, with the recommended dose being one tablet every 8-12 hours as needed, up to a maximum of three tablets in 24 hours. The product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either component, as well as in those with active peptic ulceration, bleeding, or gastrointestinal perforation.
