IO-Nepa Eye Drop is indicated for the management of ocular inflammation and pain associated with cataract surgery and other anterior segment procedures. It effectively minimizes postoperative inflammation, reduces the risk of cystoid macular edema, and enhances patient comfort during the recovery period. The formulation is designed for topical application, ensuring targeted delivery with minimal systemic absorption.
IO-Nepa Eye Drop should be used as directed by an ophthalmologist, typically administered as one drop three times daily starting one day prior to surgery and continued for up to two weeks postoperatively. Caution is advised in patients with known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or any component of the formulation. Adverse effects may include transient burning or stinging upon instillation, conjunctival hyperemia, or rare allergic reactions.
Proper aseptic technique must be maintained to avoid contamination and potential ocular infections.
