Xylocare 2% Injection

The onset of action is usually within 2 to 5 minutes, with a duration of effect lasting approximately 30 to 60 minutes depending on the site and method of administration. Xylocare 2% Injection is also utilized for the management of ventricular arrhythmias due to its antiarrhythmic properties when administered intravenously under medical supervision. The product should be used with caution in patients with hypersensitivity to amide-type local anesthetics, severe hepatic impairment, or cardiac conduction abnormalities.

Dosage and administration must be individualized based on the patient’s weight, procedure type, and clinical condition to minimize the risk of systemic toxicity, which may manifest as central nervous system excitation or depression and cardiovascular effects. Proper aspiration before injection is recommended to avoid intravascular administration. Xylocare 2% Injection should be stored at controlled room temperature and protected from light.
