Webace 75mg Capsule contains Palbociclib, a selective cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Palbociclib works by inhibiting CDK4 and CDK6, enzymes that promote cell cycle progression from the G1 phase to the S phase, thereby preventing cancer cell proliferation.

Webace is typically administered in combination with endocrine therapies such as letrozole or fulvestrant to enhance therapeutic efficacy. The recommended dosage is 75mg once daily for 21 consecutive days followed by 7 days off treatment, constituting a 28-day cycle, although dosing may be adjusted based on patient tolerance and hematologic parameters. Common adverse effects include neutropenia, leukopenia, fatigue, nausea, and infections, necessitating regular monitoring of complete blood counts.
Dose modifications or treatment interruptions may be required in cases of severe hematologic toxicity. Webace 75mg Capsule should be prescribed and administered under the supervision of an oncologist experienced in cancer chemotherapy. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Palbociclib or any capsule components.
