Kixta is indicated for use in combination with endocrine therapies such as letrozole or fulvestrant to improve progression-free survival in postmenopausal women and men with HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer. The recommended dosage is 125 mg orally once daily for 21 consecutive days followed by 7 days off treatment, constituting a 28-day cycle, with dose adjustments based on tolerability and hematologic parameters.
Common adverse effects include neutropenia, leukopenia, fatigue, nausea, and infections, necessitating regular blood count monitoring during therapy. Kixta should be used under strict medical supervision, with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Palbociclib or any excipients.
