Lignopar Gel is indicated for use on intact skin to alleviate pain and itching, facilitating patient comfort during minor dermatological procedures or following minor trauma. The gel formulation allows for easy application and rapid absorption, ensuring prompt onset of action. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or other amide-type local anesthetics.
Caution is advised when applying to large areas or broken skin to avoid systemic toxicity. Adverse effects are generally mild and may include localized redness, irritation, or allergic reactions. Lignopar Gel should be used as directed by a healthcare professional, avoiding contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
