By selectively inhibiting JAK enzymes, Tofacitinib modulates the signaling pathways involved in the inflammatory process, thereby reducing inflammation and immune system overactivity.

Jakura 5mg is indicated for adult patients with moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to methotrexate. It is also prescribed for active psoriatic arthritis and moderate to severe ulcerative colitis in patients who have not responded adequately to conventional therapies. The recommended dosage and duration of treatment should be determined by a healthcare professional based on the patient’s clinical condition and response.
Common adverse effects may include upper respiratory tract infections, headache, diarrhea, and increased risk of serious infections due to immunosuppression. Regular monitoring of blood counts, liver enzymes, and lipid profiles is advised during therapy. Jakura 5mg should be used with caution in patients with a history of chronic infections, malignancies, or hepatic impairment.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tofacitinib or any excipients.
