By selectively inhibiting JAK enzymes, Jakauto modulates the signaling pathways involved in the inflammatory process, thereby reducing immune system overactivity and alleviating symptoms such as joint pain, swelling, and stiffness.

It is indicated for adult patients who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to conventional disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). Jakauto is administered orally, typically twice daily, with dosage adjustments based on clinical response and patient tolerance. Common adverse effects include upper respiratory tract infections, headache, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
Serious risks involve increased susceptibility to infections, malignancies, and blood clots; therefore, patients require regular monitoring of blood counts, liver function, and lipid profiles during therapy. Jakauto is contraindicated in patients with active infections or known hypersensitivity to Tofacitinib. Caution is advised in patients with a history of chronic or recurrent infections, liver impairment, or cardiovascular disease.
