It is primarily indicated for the treatment of strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, and other nematode infections. Additionally, Ivermectin has been employed off-label for certain ectoparasitic infestations such as scabies and lice. Iverbest 12 Tablet should be administered orally as per the prescribed dosage, typically as a single dose or according to the severity and type of infection.
It is generally well tolerated; however, potential side effects may include dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, and mild skin reactions. Caution is advised in patients with impaired liver function or hypersensitivity to the drug. Ivermectin is contraindicated in children weighing less than 15 kg and during pregnancy unless clearly needed.
