Itin 6 Tablet contains Ivermectin 6 mg, an antiparasitic agent used for the treatment of various parasitic infections. Ivermectin acts by binding selectively to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, leading to increased permeability to chloride ions, hyperpolarization, and subsequent paralysis and death of the parasite. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, and other susceptible parasitic infestations such as scabies and certain types of lice.
