Additionally, Fibronib 150 is prescribed as part of combination therapy for advanced NSCLC, particularly in cases with adenocarcinoma histology after first-line chemotherapy. The capsule should be taken orally, preferably with food to minimize gastrointestinal side effects such as diarrhea, nausea, and abdominal pain. Patients should be monitored regularly for liver function abnormalities, bleeding risks, and gastrointestinal perforations, as these are potential adverse effects associated with Nintedanib.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug or its components. Caution is advised in patients with hepatic impairment or those on anticoagulant therapy.
