Xenoscab Lotion

Prior to application, the affected skin should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. The lotion should be applied evenly over the entire body from the neck down, including under the nails and in skin folds, and left on for 8 to 14 hours before washing off. A single application is generally sufficient; however, a second treatment may be necessary after one week if symptoms persist. Permethrin is well tolerated, with adverse effects such as mild burning, itching, or erythema at the application site being rare and transient.

Xenoscab Lotion should be used with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to pyrethroids. Proper hygiene and simultaneous treatment of close contacts are recommended to prevent reinfestation.
