HHMite Soap contains 5% w/w permethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide and acaricide, formulated for the treatment and prevention of mite infestations on the skin. Permethrin acts by disrupting the sodium channel function in the nerve cells of mites, leading to paralysis and death of the parasites. HHMite Soap is indicated for the management of scabies and other mite-related dermatoses. The soap is intended for topical application, providing a convenient and effective method to reduce mite populations on the skin surface. It is suitable for use in both adults and children over the age of two years. To use, the affected area should be thoroughly washed with HHMite Soap, allowing a contact time sufficient to exert acaricidal activity before rinsing. Caution is advised to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. HHMite Soap is generally well tolerated; however, mild skin irritation or hypersensitivity reactions may occur in some individuals.
