Weltelmi CT 40 is indicated for the management of hypertension, either as initial therapy or in patients inadequately controlled on monotherapy. Its use helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke, myocardial infarction, and heart failure.

The combination is generally well tolerated; however, monitoring of electrolytes, renal function, and blood pressure is recommended during treatment to detect potential adverse effects such as hypotension, hyperkalemia, or electrolyte imbalance. Dose adjustments may be necessary in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. This fixed-dose combination enhances patient compliance by simplifying the antihypertensive regimen.
