This medication is contraindicated during pregnancy. Use of drugs that act on the renin-angiotensin system can cause fetal injury and death. If pregnancy is detected, discontinue the medication immediately and contact your physician to discuss alternative treatments that are safe for both the mother and the developing fetus.

This medication may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fatigue, which could impair your ability to drive or operate machinery. Exercise caution until you know how the medication affects you.
