Wavtel LN 40 Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medication containing Cilnidipine 10mg and Telmisartan 40mg. Cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker, selectively inhibits L-type and N-type calcium channels, leading to vasodilation of peripheral arteries and reduction in sympathetic nerve activity, thereby effectively lowering blood pressure. Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), antagonizes the AT1 receptor, preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion, which contributes to blood pressure reduction and cardiovascular protection.
