Olvance M 25 Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medication containing Olmesartan Medoxomil 20 mg and Metoprolol Succinate 25 mg. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, thereby reducing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion, leading to lowered blood pressure. Metoprolol Succinate is a cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that decreases heart rate, myocardial contractility, and cardiac output, contributing to blood pressure reduction and improved cardiac function.

This combination is indicated for the management of hypertension, particularly in patients who require dual therapy for optimal blood pressure control. Olvance M 25 Tablet helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke, myocardial infarction, and heart failure by effectively controlling elevated blood pressure. It is generally well tolerated; however, caution is advised in patients with bradycardia, heart block, or severe hepatic impairment.
Common adverse effects may include dizziness, fatigue, and hypotension. Olvance M 25 should be used under medical supervision with regular monitoring of blood pressure, renal function, and electrolytes to ensure safety and therapeutic efficacy.
