How It Works

Olmighty 40H Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medication containing Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg and Olmesartan Medoxomil 40 mg. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that promotes the excretion of sodium and water by inhibiting sodium reabsorption in the distal tubules of the kidneys, thereby reducing blood volume and lowering blood pressure. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, leading to vasodilation and decreased aldosterone secretion.

The combined action of these two agents provides effective blood pressure control by targeting different mechanisms involved in hypertension pathophysiology. Olmighty 40H is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension, particularly in patients who require more than one antihypertensive agent to achieve optimal blood pressure control. The combination therapy has been shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events associated with hypertension.

How to use Olmighty H Tablet Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olmighty 40H Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
