Nuril 5 Tablet contains Enalapril 5 mg, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor primarily indicated for the management of hypertension and symptomatic heart failure. Enalapril works by inhibiting the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor, thereby promoting vasodilation and reducing peripheral vascular resistance. This mechanism leads to decreased blood pressure and reduced cardiac workload.

Nuril 5 is effective in improving symptoms and survival in patients with congestive heart failure and is also used to prevent the progression of asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction. The tablet is administered orally, with dosing individualized based on patient response and clinical condition. Common side effects may include cough, dizziness, hypotension, and renal function alterations; therefore, renal function and serum potassium levels should be monitored periodically.
Nuril 5 is contraindicated in patients with a history of angioedema related to previous ACE inhibitor therapy and in those with bilateral renal artery stenosis. Caution is advised during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, due to potential fetal toxicity. Overall, Nuril 5 Tablet offers a well-established therapeutic option for cardiovascular conditions requiring modulation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system.

How to use Nuril Tablet Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nuril 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
