Nebilyst-T Tablet is a combined pharmaceutical agent containing Nebivolol 5mg and Telmisartan 40mg. This medication is primarily indicated for the management of essential hypertension (high blood pressure). Nebivolol, a beta-blocker, functions by decreasing the heart rate and force of heart contractions, thereby reducing blood pressure, while Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict, thereby increasing blood pressure.
