Mupitret Cream

Mupitret Cream, containing 2% w/w Mupirocin, is a topical antimicrobial agent indicated for the treatment of impetigo and other secondary bacterial skin infections. Mupitret Cream provides local action against susceptible Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes. It is formulated with a liposomal delivery system, enhancing its efficacy and reducing the potential for bacterial resistance.

Mupitret Cream should be applied sparingly, twice daily, for a maximum of 10 days, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare provider. It is important to clean and dry the affected area prior to application. Common side effects include skin irritation and allergic reactions; discontinue use if severe reactions occur.
