Enzoheal 2% Ointment is applied topically to the affected area two to three times daily, typically for a duration of 5 to 10 days, depending on clinical response. It is important to clean and dry the affected area before application. The ointment is generally well tolerated; however, local adverse reactions such as burning, stinging, or itching may occur. Systemic absorption is minimal, reducing the risk of systemic side effects.
Use of Enzoheal 2% Ointment should be avoided in patients with known hypersensitivity to mupirocin or any excipients in the formulation.
