Enzoheal 2% Ointment contains Mupirocin 2% w/w, a topical antibiotic effective against a variety of gram-positive bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It is primarily indicated for the treatment of superficial skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and infected eczema. Mupirocin acts by inhibiting bacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, thereby preventing protein synthesis and bacterial replication. Enzoheal 2% Ointment is applied topically to the affected area two to three times daily, typically for a duration of 5 to 10 days, depending on clinical response.
