Mido-G Tablet is a prescription medicine containing midodrine, a synthetic sympathomimetic agent, in a tablet form. Each tablet contains 5mg of midodrine. Mido-G Tablet is indicated for the treatment of orthostatic hypotension (OH), a condition characterized by a sudden and significant drop in blood pressure upon standing. This can lead to symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, and even fainting. Mido-G Tablet works by increasing blood pressure and improving blood flow to the brain and other vital organs, thereby alleviating the symptoms of OH. The recommended dosage of Mido-G Tablet is one tablet three times daily, taken 30 minutes prior to standing or changing positions. Patients with pre-existing hypertension, cardiac disease, or kidney disease may require dose adjustments or close monitoring.
