Formoterol is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist that provides bronchodilation by relaxing airway smooth muscle, thereby improving airflow and reducing symptoms such as wheezing and shortness of breath.

The synergistic effect of these two agents helps in controlling persistent respiratory symptoms and improving lung function. Maxiflo 250 Rotacaps are administered via a rotahaler device, delivering the medication directly to the lungs for rapid onset and sustained action.
It is recommended for patients requiring both bronchodilation and anti-inflammatory therapy, particularly those inadequately controlled on corticosteroids alone.
