Lupin Vilfuro 100 Capsule contains a combination of Fluticasone Furoate (100 mcg) and Vilanterol (25 mcg), indicated for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma in patients requiring both a corticosteroid and a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA). Fluticasone Furoate is a potent inhaled corticosteroid that exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting multiple cell types and mediators involved in airway inflammation, thereby reducing airway hyperresponsiveness and improving lung function.

Vilanterol is a selective, long-acting beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist that induces bronchodilation by relaxing airway smooth muscle, leading to sustained improvement in airflow. The fixed-dose combination in Lupin Vilfuro 100 Capsule provides synergistic benefits, enhancing symptom control, reducing exacerbations, and improving quality of life in patients with obstructive airway diseases.
