Each capsule contains Indacaterol 110 mcg, a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), and Glycopyrrolate 50 mcg, a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA). Indacaterol works by stimulating beta2-adrenergic receptors in the airway smooth muscle, resulting in sustained bronchodilation and improved airflow. Glycopyrrolate blocks muscarinic receptors, reducing bronchoconstriction and mucus secretion. The dual mechanism provides complementary and sustained bronchodilation, improving lung function and reducing symptoms such as dyspnea and wheezing. Loftair-L is administered via a dry powder inhaler, delivering the medication directly to the lungs for rapid onset of action and enhanced efficacy.
