Lenome 25 Capsule contains Lenalidomide 25 mg, an immunomodulatory agent indicated primarily for the treatment of multiple myeloma and certain types of myelodysplastic syndromes. Lenalidomide exerts its therapeutic effects by modulating the immune system, inhibiting angiogenesis, and inducing apoptosis in malignant cells. It is commonly prescribed for patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, often in combination with dexamethasone, to improve progression-free survival. Additionally, Lenome 25 is utilized in the management of transfusion-dependent anemia due to low- or intermediate-1-risk myelodysplastic syndromes associated with deletion 5q cytogenetic abnormality. The capsule should be administered orally once daily, with dosage adjustments based on renal function and hematologic response. Patients must be monitored regularly for hematologic parameters, as Lenalidomide can cause neutropenia and thrombocytopenia.
