Leantor Capsule contains Orlistat 120 mg, a potent lipase inhibitor indicated for the management of obesity. It is prescribed as an adjunct to a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity in adult patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg/m² or greater, or 27 kg/m² with associated risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, or dyslipidemia. Orlistat acts locally in the gastrointestinal tract by inhibiting pancreatic and gastric lipases, enzymes responsible for the hydrolysis of dietary triglycerides into absorbable free fatty acids and monoglycerides.
