Lasibrace Injection contains Furosemide 10 mg/ml, a potent loop diuretic used primarily to manage fluid retention and edema associated with congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis, and renal disorders including nephrotic syndrome. Furosemide acts by inhibiting the sodium-potassium-chloride co-transporter in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle, promoting increased excretion of sodium, chloride, and water, thereby reducing extracellular fluid volume.

This mechanism effectively decreases edema and lowers blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Lasibrace Injection is indicated for rapid diuresis in acute settings such as pulmonary edema and hypertensive crises where oral administration is not feasible. The onset of action is typically within 5 minutes when administered intravenously, with a duration of effect lasting approximately 2 hours.
Dosage should be individualized based on clinical response and renal function, with careful monitoring of electrolytes, renal parameters, and fluid balance to prevent dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and renal impairment. Contraindications include anuria, hypersensitivity to furosemide or sulfonamides, and severe electrolyte depletion. Caution is advised in patients with hepatic coma or severe liver disease.
Lasibrace Injection should be administered under medical supervision with appropriate supportive care to ensure safety and efficacy.
