Lama 5mg is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke and myocardial infarction. It is also prescribed for chronic stable angina and vasospastic angina to prevent anginal attacks and improve exercise tolerance. The tablet is administered orally once daily, with or without food, and dosage adjustments may be necessary based on patient response and tolerability.
