Humog 75 HP Injection contains Menotrophin (75 IU), a purified preparation of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) derived from the urine of postmenopausal women. It is indicated for the treatment of infertility in both male and female patients. In females, Humog 75 HP Injection is used to stimulate follicular development in anovulatory or oligo-ovulatory women who do not respond to clomiphene citrate, as well as in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation protocols for assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). In males, it is employed to induce spermatogenesis in cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. The administration of Menotrophin should be carefully monitored by a healthcare professional experienced in fertility treatments to minimize risks such as ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) and multiple pregnancies. Dosage and duration of therapy are individualized based on patient response, typically assessed through ultrasound and serum estradiol levels.
