It is indicated for the treatment of infertility in both male and female patients. In females, Humog 150 HP is used to stimulate follicular development in anovulatory or oligo-ovulatory patients undergoing assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intrauterine insemination (IUI). It is also employed in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation protocols to induce multiple follicular growth. In males, it is utilized to stimulate spermatogenesis in cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. The dosage and duration of treatment should be individualized based on patient response, monitored through serum estradiol levels and ultrasound assessment of follicular development. Administration is via intramuscular or subcutaneous injection under strict aseptic conditions.
