Gynogen HP 150IU Injection contains Menotrophin, a highly purified preparation of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) derived from the urine of postmenopausal women. This combination hormone therapy is primarily indicated for the treatment of infertility in both male and female patients. In females, Gynogen HP is used to stimulate follicular development in anovulatory or oligo-ovulatory patients undergoing assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intrauterine insemination (IUI).

It promotes the maturation of multiple follicles, enhancing the chances of successful ovulation and conception. In males, it is employed to stimulate spermatogenesis in cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. The dosage and administration of Gynogen HP should be individualized based on patient response, monitored through serum estradiol levels and ultrasound follicular assessment to minimize the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
It is contraindicated in patients with primary ovarian failure, uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction, and hormone-sensitive malignancies. Adverse effects may include injection site reactions, headache, abdominal discomfort, and rarely, OHSS. Gynogen HP 150IU Injection should be administered under strict medical supervision by specialists experienced in fertility treatments to ensure optimal efficacy and safety.
