Glycoflo F Capsule contains Formoterol (12 mcg) and Glycopyrrolate (25 mcg), a combination of a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist and an anticholinergic agent, respectively, indicated for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Formoterol acts by stimulating beta2-adrenergic receptors in the airway smooth muscle, leading to bronchodilation and improved airflow, while Glycopyrrolate inhibits muscarinic receptors, reducing bronchoconstriction and mucus secretion. This dual mechanism provides sustained bronchodilation, improving lung function, exercise tolerance, and reducing symptoms such as dyspnea. Glycoflo F Capsule is intended for regular use and is not suitable for acute bronchospasm relief.
