Eritel LN 40 Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medication containing Cilnidipine 10 mg and Telmisartan 40 mg. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that inhibits L-type and N-type calcium channels, leading to vasodilation and reduced peripheral vascular resistance, thereby lowering blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion, which contributes to blood pressure reduction and end-organ protection.

The synergistic action of these two agents provides effective and sustained control of hypertension, improving cardiovascular outcomes and reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and renal impairment. Eritel LN 40 is indicated for the management of essential hypertension, especially in patients requiring combination therapy for optimal blood pressure control. It is generally well tolerated, with adverse effects potentially including dizziness, headache, and mild gastrointestinal disturbances.
Caution is advised in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, and it is contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, renal function, and electrolytes is recommended during therapy. Eritel LN 40 Tablet should be used under medical supervision to ensure safe and effective treatment of hypertension.

How to use Eritel LN Tablet Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Eritel LN 40 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
