Envas 10 Tablet contains Enalapril 10 mg, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used primarily in the management of hypertension and congestive heart failure. Enalapril acts by inhibiting the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor, thereby promoting vasodilation and reducing blood pressure. This mechanism decreases the workload on the heart and improves cardiac output.

Envas 10 is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension, helping to prevent stroke, myocardial infarction, and renal complications associated with elevated blood pressure. Additionally, it is employed in the management of symptomatic heart failure and asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction to improve survival and reduce hospitalizations. The tablet is typically administered once or twice daily, with dosage adjustments based on clinical response and renal function.
Common adverse effects may include dizziness, hypotension, cough, and hyperkalemia; therefore, monitoring of blood pressure, renal function, and serum electrolytes is recommended during therapy. Envas 10 should be used cautiously in patients with renal impairment, pregnancy, or a history of angioedema. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to enalapril or other ACE inhibitors.
