Zotum 500mg Tablet contains Cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against a broad spectrum of bacterial infections. Indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and Lyme disease, Zotum is suitable for both adult and pediatric patients.

Cefuroxime exhibits activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Escherichia coli.
