Cefixime works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall, leading to the destruction of harmful bacteria. Ofloxacin complements this action by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication and repair mechanisms, thereby preventing bacterial growth and multiplication. Together, these medicines provide enhanced antibacterial activity and help speed up recovery from infections.
The syrup is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal infections, typhoid fever, and other bacterial conditions where broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy is required. As a dry syrup formulation, it must be reconstituted with the recommended quantity of water before use. Patients should complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve earlier, as premature discontinuation may lead to recurrence of infection.

Dosage & How to Use
