Zosa-HP Tablet Combikit contains a combination of Amoxycillin (750 mg), Clarithromycin (500 mg), and Esomeprazole (40 mg), formulated for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infections associated with peptic ulcer disease and gastritis. Amoxycillin and Clarithromycin are antibiotics that act synergistically to eradicate H. pylori by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and protein synthesis, respectively, thereby reducing bacterial load.

Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells, creating a less acidic environment that enhances antibiotic efficacy and promotes mucosal healing. This combination therapy is indicated for patients with confirmed H. pylori infection to improve eradication rates and reduce recurrence of ulcers.
Zosa-HP should be administered as prescribed, typically twice daily for 7 to 14 days, with adherence essential to prevent antibiotic resistance.
