Zocovic Tablet

This combination is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including strains resistant to Amoxycillin alone. Zocovic is indicated for the treatment of various infections such as respiratory tract infections (including sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and otitis media. It is also useful in managing bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms in dental infections and prophylaxis in certain surgical procedures.

The dosage and duration of therapy should be determined based on the severity of infection and patient-specific factors. Zocovic should be used with caution in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to penicillins or beta-lactamase inhibitors. Common adverse effects include gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea, nausea, and rash. Proper medical consultation is advised before initiating therapy.
