Ziram 5 is also utilized to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular mortality in patients at high risk. The tablet is administered orally, typically once daily, with or without food, and dosage adjustments may be necessary based on patient response and renal function. Common side effects include cough, dizziness, and hypotension, while serious adverse effects may involve angioedema and hyperkalemia.
It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ACE inhibitors, during pregnancy, and in patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, renal function, and serum electrolytes is recommended during therapy. Ziram 5 Tablet should be used under medical supervision to ensure safety and efficacy in managing cardiovascular conditions.
